Dropcam HD Wi-Fi Wireless Video Monitoring Camera
I absolutely love Dropcam, or as we call it, Harveycam! It takes about 60 seconds to set up, using your computer to find a Wi-Fi network, live stream in under a minute. Then install the app on your smartphone and you are good to go! When our dog, Oliver, was 18 he had pretty bad doggie dementia, so it became increasingly more difficult to leave him home alone. We couldn’t leave him in his kennel because he became terrified of small spaces, and it certainly wasn’t safe to let him have free run of the house as he had enjoyed all of his life. The solution was to leave him in one room that was seriously dog proofed, but he would often become really agitated and confused when he was left alone. I never knew when he would have a good day or a bad day, and when it was a bad day, it was a really bad day. Our answer to this was to install Dropcam – so if I was out, I was able to peek in on him and see if he was okay, or if I needed to hurry home. It helped me to provide the best possible life for an otherwise very healthy dog, while still having the freedom to be able to do this things I needed to do. Oliver is no longer with us, but we have a blast peeking in on Harvey to see what he is up to while we are out! Available at Amazon.
