‘Tis the Season to Give the Dog a Bone – or a Barking Dog Blanket!
The holiday shopping season is here! (Yikes!) Are you ready for it? Will you be buying gifts for your pets? Along with millions of others, I will be buying Harvey Christmas presents – I just can’t resist! So that begs the question – what to buy for our furry friends? So, over the next few weeks I will share a few of my favorite picks.
Today’s pick – Barking Dog Blankets
Barking Dog Blankets is a great family owned and operated company in Hawaii, which makes beautiful blankets for dogs and cats. Many of them are one of a kind and all of them are handmade with aloha (love)!
The blankets are all made with stunning Hawaiian print fabrics, are reversible, and are adorned with an adorable bone print piping around the edges. Sizing options abound – you can get anything from throw blankets to custom car seat blankets.
They are extremely well crafted from high quality materials and made in the USA!
Our first BDB (for all you texters out there) was a gift when we adopted Harvey, and we have been hooked ever since! The car seat cover is a large blanket designed to slip over the headrest, keeping your car clean and doggie comfortable. They are extremely well crafted from high quality materials and made in the USA! BDB2 (that is, our second Barking Dog Blanket) is a medium blanket we use to cover Harvey’s seat on the couch (since somebody … not naming any names here … likes to dig until it is just right!). Aren’t the colors gorgeous?!
Make great gifts for all the pets and pet lovers in your life!
These make such great gifts – whether it is to welcome a new pet, lavish TLC on a senior pet, give a gift from Santa, or just because – you can’t go wrong with a Barking Dog Blanket!
Until next time, have joy in your heart, a smile on your face, and a dog by your side!
Your Turn!
Do you have the perfect gift idea that will make pets everywhere do the happy dance?

Hi Bonnie,
What a great blog on my blankets I am going to tweet and post to my facebook page. Harvey looks absolutely regal and so very handsome in all his shots. I must say that we get complements ALWAYS on your photo of Mana. Everyone thinks Dana shot it and we say NOPE a very talented pet photographer, Bonnie Grower, who moved to the east coast shot it. My only regret is that you did not sign that copy, I hope you are now signing all of your prints as they are priceless!!
Aloha and thank you!
